Changes.

Wednesday, October 19th, 2011

If you have been checking in here you have may have noticed two things…  First, The updates have been shoddy and sporadic.  I apologize for that.  I have been busy putting together some designs for other folks.  I have just completed Phoenixxx Toys’ logo, which will be posted in the next couple days.  Focus Climbing Academy, a bouldering/ rock climbing / ninja training school.  I am about to print a design for Wolfpack Cruisers, a hang out (drink) and ride bike club and some other designs and prints for a few local Tempe bands (Plainfield Butchers, Rebel Set, to name a couple).

I have also been doing some repair stuff on the equipment.  Which is not awesome.

Lastly, I am putting the final touches on our first run of hats and beanies.  The beanies are done and now we’re just waiting on some embroidery work, then BOOM!  I have also been drawing for BMF too!  The output has been prolific due to all the creative juices flowing from the other design gigs, I have some stuff I am very happy with.

Here is some crap made right here in Tempe.

First, I got a new pen.  Pentel brush pen, expensive but the results speak for themselves.

MEAT

New pen and this is what's up.

Rody

Friday, October 7th, 2011

I traveled to New Mexico and ran into Rody, a master pinstriper from Colorado.  Rody has been at it 37 years and is a legend in the business.   In addition to having an extraordinary talent, Rody is still extremely humble and super cool.  I want to give Rody my sincerest thanks for the days lesson and all the advice.  It was my honor to be in the company of such good people.

P.S.  This is my 3rd attempt at making a video, so that will be my excuse for the shoddy camera & editing.  Also, it was after I had made the vid that I realized I didn’t include the completed pictures of the maroon vehicle.  RATS!!!
